VIBRANT ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF SAVEETHA COLLEGE OF NURSING
Saveetha College of Nursing (SCON), which has completed several years of active functioning since its inception in 1992. Alumni Association of Saveetha College of Nursing (AASCON) established in 2014 and registered as a Society (Sl. No. 156/2014) under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 27 of 1975.AASCON office is situated in the campus and is operated by Alumni. The members of Alumni Association are lead by President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer along with six Executive Members.
AASCON provides a common platform for the alumni of the institute to reach out to other alumni across various years, batches, branches, and interest. Alumni association is to support Saveetha College of Nursing through sharing knowledge, skills, financial resources, and loyalty of its alumni to communicate and interpret the goals and achievements to others and to promote a spirit of unity and loyalty among former students and friends. Alumni Association creates and maintains a life-long connection between the Institute and its alumni, whose number is around 1570.
Association works to connect alumni, support students and build an unforgettable Institute experience through diversity of events, programming and services. Out of 1570 alumni 807 are globally placed others in India in higher cadre. Saveetha college of Nursing maintains Student-Alumni Contact by Supporting current students through different mentoring opportunities like Guest lectures, Discussion Sessions, and Continuing Nursing Education, Seminars, Workshop, on-campus and National and International conferences conducted by eminent alumni.
AASCON has created an ENDOWMENT AWARD which is awarded every year to the Best out going student in Nursing subjects as a cash prize through Alumni Association during the convocation. The Association organizes and facilitates and host many events every year. This includes the General body meeting which is held on October 2nd of every year. Association members are also invited for events like Founders Day, Convocation Day, and other cultural events on Campus. In addition, Picnics, sports, and meetings are organised among the interested alumnus of SCON.

Alumni Activities
Alumni Association offers
• Life-long Learning: Enjoy Guest lectures, discussion sessions, and Continuing Nursing Education, seminars workshop, on-campus National and Internationalconferences conducted by eminent alumni , current and emeriti faculty.
• Student-Alumni Contact: Support current students through different mentoring opportunities either by being a part of on-campus lectures or through an in-person or online commitment; provide internships and recruit fresh graduates
• Awards: Best Out going Alumni awarded cash prize during their convocation
• Events and Reunions: The Association organises and facilitates a host of events every year. This includes the General body meeting which is held onany national Holidays of every year. Association members are also invited to campus events like FoundersDay, Convocation Day, and other cultural events on Campus. In addition, there are picnics outings, sports events, and meetings of various special interest groups within the alumni in Chennai
